In an addition to the awards categories this year, Aldi UK, Capita for the British Army, and Tesco will fight it out for Long Term Brand Building Excellence. Aldi UK, BT Sport, ITV, Tesco and UKTV are all up for Marketing Team of the Year.

Agency of the Year is between BBH, CHS, ForwardPMX, Go Inspire Group and Karmarama, part of Accenture Interactive.

Marketing Week’s editor-in-chief Russell Parsons says: “Given the huge challenge everyone in the marketing industry faces, it’s really important to celebrate what excellence looks like. This shortlist is testament to the creativity, innovation and effectiveness of the UK marketing industry. Huge congratulations to everyone shortlisted.”

The shortlist was decided by a jury of senior marketers from some of the UK’s biggest businesses. This year, our expert panel of judges includes Channel 4 CMO Zaid Al-Qassab, Nationwide CMO Sara Bennison, Centrica CMO Margaret Jobling and Tesco chief customer officer Alessandra Bellini.

The winners will be announced in September as part of an online showcase of the results. We will be sharing further details of this shortly.
